Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and scored an even stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. Ladd took home the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
