Anamaria Marinca bio

Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. Her first screen appearance was in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she received the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. She can fluently speak French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her father is the theatre professor at one of Romania's top acting schools. In addition, she appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She played Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca is a regular on Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. She later was Irma's German aunt in Fury that was released in the year 2014.
