Stevie Wonder

Stevie WonderStevland Morris (ne Judkins, May 13, 1950), better known as Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter from the United States. He is often acknowledged as pioneers in a range of genres, including blues and rhythm and gospel, jazz, soul, gospel and funk. Wonder was a one-man band utilized synthesizers in the production of electronic music during the 1970s. This changed the R&B genre. He also helped drive such styles into the album age by crafting his albums to be coherent and consistent in addition to expressive and socially conscious compositions. Wonder was blind at the time of his birth, signed with Motown's Tamla label aged 11. In the Tamla label, he was awarded the professional title Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical success was at its height in the 1970s. The band's "classic" period started in 1972 with Music of My Mind and Talking Book. The latter included "Superstition" as the most well-known and iconic example of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard sound. The Grammy Award for Album of the Years was won by Innervisions (1973) as well as Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974) as well as Songs in the Key of Life (1976). He is tied for the third with the most albums with three Album of the YEAR wins. Wonder is the only artist who has won the award in three consecutive albums. Wonder was considered a "commercial artist" before he started to achieve his greatest hits in the 1980s. His popularity increased with the increase in albums sales, charity involvement and notable collaborations.
